BIR Revenue Regulations No. 09-2009, Philippine taxpayers, particularly large taxpayers, are required to maintain electronic systems or Computerized Accounting Systems (CAS) for record keeping and maintenance of records and books of accounts. This requirement has been in place since January 1, 2010.
Ok Bank Inc. a rural bank in Iloilo, one of Kabertek clients, uses Safebox Core Banking System for their banking, savings, current account, term deposits and loan transactions that is accredited by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and all the transactions are link to the Safebox General Ledger System. The Safebox General Ledger System contains all the accounts for recording transactions relating to a company’s assets, liabilities, owners’ equity, revenue, and expenses.
On January 2019, Bureau of Internal Revenue approved the accreditation of Computerized Accounting System (CAS) of Ok Bank Inc.
